Again and again: Is Torture !!!!!

Subject: Assault of the Sahrawi activist Mr. Cherif Baiji.

The Saharawi citizen Baiji Cherif, 40 years old, blind and father of three childre,n disappeared and former political prisoner in the notorious prison of Laayoune PC SIMI, was arrested Wednesday 6 January by moroccan officials outside the house of the Sahrawi activist Aminatou Haidar when trying to visit her home, located in the borough Stone House, now called by the moroccan authorities Bir Jdid.

It is the policy against the Saharawi in Moroccan-controlled zone, especially against Saharawi human rights activists, a policy which is characterized in methods of monitoring and enforcement.

In the same framework and outside the home of Mrs. Haidar, Ms. Bent Ghlana Baiji and Mrs. Maryam Bent Swayeh suffered a brutal beating while trying to stop the insults, attacks and subsequent torture received by Mr. Cherif Baiji, by their solidarity and support for the activist.
