Moroccan police covers up offense of Moroccan policeman against four Saharawi women:
El Aaiun, August 29, 2010: A drunken Moroccan police run over Saturday by his car four Saharawi women at Smara’s street, which left varying degrees of severity injuries, while the offender is still at large protected by Moroccan police did nothing to follow it, according to several sources from the occupied city of El Aaiun.
The same source pointed out that Shatuki Hnaidu was wounded at the level of head, right foot and hand, while Abraik Fatimatu and Barhama Amana were severely injured at the level of head in addition to Aziza Braik who wad injured at the level of right foot and hand.
The four women were returning from a family visit, where a Moroccan policeman in a drunken manner run over them by his car before he fled leaving them on the street, Moroccan police took no action to evacuate the victims, but it smuggled the offender, according to the same sources.
The Saharawi citizens intervened to save the victims through transported them in civilian cars to the hospital, where they prevented from medical treatment before an hour of waiting and clashes with the Moroccan police which was surrounding the hospital.
As a response, peaceful stands held in Mathalaa’s district condemning the Moroccan cynicism towards lives of the Saharawi citizens, to move into confrontations between young Saharawis and Moroccan occupying forces.
